Extensive system & database administration of the servers providing the ERP and other business services to UNOG and some international organisations:
- Provide highly available and reliable environments for various enterprise applications based on multiple components (Sybase, MySQL, Oracle and MS/SQL databases, Apache, Subversion, Samba, Sendmail, NFS, SSH, monitoring agents and load-balancing agents, storage) using the different platforms available and virtualization technologies (HPVM, OpenVZ,VMware)
- Maintain the highest possible level of quality of service, security and availability by providing a disaster recovery environment and tested well defined procedures and taking actions to improve it
- Report potential and existing problems and initiate actions
- Participate in SLA and OLA definitions and incident reports
- Provide comprehensive documentation and share experience
- Provide clear production procedures for operations
- Plan new material requirements and initiate procurement activities
- Manage inventory and support contracts for hardware and applications
- Ensure ITIL compliance of all workflows
- Adapt systems to the ISO27001 compliance

Head the unit in charge of mission-critical systems, databases and storage of data

- Lead a team of 12 people acting in various domains like system or database administration, data storage, physical security, information security incident management, ISO27001 compliance, email
